Rear hat material - cast iron vs aluminum

Sorry. I did have a problem with 1 hat. The rotor/hat ended up with a tiny bit of play causing noise and vibration. I replaced and torqued new hardware.... no improvement. So that meant the problem was either the ring or the hat itself. Replaced hat and problem went away. So it seems the holes...

    Replacing Brake Fluid

I believe the recommendation is every two years. Which the la-person never does. You should alter base upon your usage. I road-course mine, the they get flushed 2x a year with Motul 600. If you do not road course your car I suspect the two-year recommendation is plenty

    Trailering

Hehe. Back in the days when I had a traditional (14k gvwr) trailer with leaf springs and had a different offroad toy, I’d park the toy on the trailer all winter to save space. and yeah, I suppose your idea of bringing it inside and dropping it down on blocks of some sort is very doable. Would...

I have the longest set of race ramp they make (or made at the time) of 77” long.... Full trailer ramp PLUS race ramp was not enough to alleviate the dragging of my front end Gave up dealing with stupid problems and just bought this... I’m a MUCH happier person now. The one in that video has...

    SADs track calendar

A few TX days... btw... Cresson doesn’t have that many posted and most that are posted are for the 3.1 mile config. Not sure what’s going on with that. I can do some investigation. For the time being here are a few entries for Apex Driving Academy. I’ve used them in TX for HPDE events before...

Will get TX added soon. I went and checked tho, due to Extreme Experience, PCA is only getting the 1.7 mile track and not the 3.1. I’ll be chasing down agenda for the 3.1 and also ECR (Eagles Canyon Raceway). yup I’ve run Hallett both directions. Completely different each direction. I sold...
