I got $62,000 for mine, and here is the ad at the dealership. I originally wanted $64,000 but that included the rims and drag radials as a part of the deal. So if I get $1,500 for those, I more or less got what I wanted to begin with...
No, I was asking $64 and got just a little less. A Chevrolet dealership is selling the car for $69,888.

I received an offer today, but will wait until Saturday to make the sale. If anybody thinks they may want to purchase the car, it's still open to sale. (the offer was just a little under the price mentioned).
5200 miles, looks brand new. Has run several 9.9x runs, but it's not a track beaten up POS. I've made 20 passes at the most, with a best of 9.92 @ 137. (skinny guys get into the 9.8's) The tune and installs were done by Peitz Performance in Houston. Mods are listed in window sticker and...
It's way too early for this. The cars were just delivered a couple of weeks ago at best and haven't had nearly enough time to be properly broken in. Let's just wait until next fall for better weather and time for the cars to get a few thousand miles worth of break in time.
I had a Pontiac G8 GXP (LS3 powered) with the license plate 'QWK LS3' and when I sold the car, I kept the old plate. One day I went to the drag strip and put the plate on my 2013 Mustang GT. Naturally between races I kept the hood open and it was funny how many guys quietly looked under the...
We had a great race (I'm car 372, 3rd time slip). I wish I could get into the 9.8xs and wish I could go from 137 to 140 in the quarter. My car weight was 4650 with me in the drivers seat, did you manage to get a weight on your car?
First, listen to Linda! Secondly, I would highly suggest getting Demon Springs from High Horse Performance. These knocked my 60' down .1 and really helped me get out of the hole...
Just curious, did you run your Redeye at the Legion of Demons rental? Friday would've been test and tune, most of Saturday would've been rained out, leaving Sunday for Legion of Demons only.
I do love, appreciate, and understand history......however, this Bullit car looked like an old beat up piece of crap, that was just a couple of steps ahead of the car crusher at the local scrap yard.
Open to all is the key term. I'm not a fan of closed rentals where car guys can't just go out and watch, seems a bit stuck up, but that's just my humble opinion. I'll be at this rental, weather 7 days out appears to be really good.
Just a quick off topic comment, there is an open rental at HRP on 1/26/20 at 9am. One lane slicks, one lane drag radials. Listed on Facebook. Hopefully I'll make this one.

I live in Houston, Texas and MAY buy a C8 Vette from a dealership in Maryland, New Jersey (forgot about Kerbeck), or New Hampshire. I bought my C7 Z06 from a dealership in Hammond, Louisiana. What a fun trip driving the 280 miles home.
