I have run 0-130 mph in low 8’s on the street.
I’ve never monitored the 0-100.

but I always use a drag radial. Street ss will get me in the mid to high 3 second 0-60 on the street. I can still pull 1.5-1.7 g’s on the street with a good tire and a sticky road.

when I would street my 17” 305 R’s I could hook up like the track on the street and pull over 2g’s on the launch. Let the air out and the damn thing will take off. I’ve ran a 7.80 0-130mph on the street before using a 17” wheel and a 305 R tire. That’s when I would be on the streets allot late at night having fun. All in theory of course.

Nitto's are the best on the street. Don't be afraid of the rain, they perform perfect as long as they have decent tread. I have been caught in rain storms with standing water and no issues

What, pray tell is this device?
I put my drag tires on today and did a few hard launches just so I could retorque my bead locks and I can see where I could actually get some hook on IMG_3017.JPG a prepped surface.

I’ve used their timers for years, still have a Fanatic in my Capri. I’ve ran this unit on the track and it’s most always with .01, .005 +/- of track timer times at every mark. 6DD47E18-7469-411F-B65A-0FDD6DD7118D.png B015C088-44FF-46B4-921D-05C0B2724649.png

Mine are 18's.
Thanks for the info!
I think the brakes on the rears are actually smaller than the ones on my Scat and I could run 17's on this car.
Woulda shoulda coulda and I may be buying even more wheels and tires!
Will see if these hook.

I tried mine once on the street on 42F pavement, no burn out, the 20” nittos hooked better. I’m hoping it was cold road and no track prep, most likely the case.
