Just crossed over 14,000 miles on my 2018 Charger Hellcat. This car is my primary car and I am not afraid to drive it (parking is another issue [ohcrap]). Only real issue has been a slight road vibration around 77-80 mph, which was remedied by switching to PS4s. I didn't want the dealer driving my car around trying to figure the tires out...so I upgraded to PS4s.

Another annoying thing is performance pages (gauges) sometimes say their was an error/could not load. It usually comes back on at next restart, but the last time it took 3 restarts before it worked again.

Lastly, almost got the UConnect brightness settings for day and night dialed in. Night is slightly on the bright side and settings were grayed out last time I tried to lower...so will figure that out.

Really cannot complain overall...great car for the $$$.

Your tire balance issue is not tires; it's "Smart Balance Mode" on Hunter Balancers. Turn Smart Balance Mode OFF and all will be fine. I know from first hand!

I believe you are correct...my PZeros probably would have been fine. The shop that did the PS4s had the Hunter Elite and they said they only had to do 2 of my wheels with that machine. All is super smooth now.

Hunter Elites also have Smart Balance Mode, which always needs to be turned OFF!

Best!

Does Discount Tire use Hunter balancers? I had this same vibration problem in my new All-Season Pirellis this weekend.

Hunter's website has a search feature for shops local to you that have the Hunter & Hunter Elite systems. I did not tell my shop to turn Smart Balance Mode off when doing my new tires. But my new PS4s are smooth. I searched for my area.

OK, answered my own question with a phone call. Yes, they have Hunter balancers. No, they do not use Smart Balance Mode when working on performance car tires.

Ultimately, we found I had a Pirelli tire that has gone bad after its 1st tire rotation. They can't get it balanced. It appears the tire has a bad spot in it, like a belt slipped. The spot is very hard vs. the rest of the tire when not inflated. New tire coming in under warranty.

Hi Hellcatcfp, I do apologize for the trouble you are experiencing with your Performance Pages. I would recommend checking if this update is available for your vehicle. If so, you will be able to download the software to a USB and update your vehicle at home. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Road Force Testing on Hunter Balancers should be able to catch these types of issues, along with excessive radial and/or lateral runout. With Road Force at or near zero on a true wheel, all that's left to do is good balance with Smart Balance Mode OFF. And I would leave it OFF for all wheels, performance or not!

I have done all the updates and my car is also slow to load the performance pages, and there have been several times they will not load at all. When that occurs the only "fix" I have found is to remove the ground lead off the battery for a while and reinstall. Takes 2 start cycles for the pages to load after that. Noticed that if you try to bring the pages up right after start that's when the error occurs most, but if you wait minutes after start its hit or miss. Best luck with mine is trying to load them about a minute after start up for whatever reason. Dealer thinks its "normal". Looked up normal in the dictionary, and read that it means the dealer has no clue what is wrong.

Good info. Same here...it takes a little bit to even show up on the apps menu. Once it fails to load you are screwed until shut down. Never done battery disconnect as gauges aren't do or die for me. I drive it almost every day so it rarely happens...but does nonetheless.

The Performance Pages suddenly refusing to display is not a new issue. I reported this to uConnect and the SRT Hotline many months ago and after 5 days neither one could tell me how to fix. And both of those entities apparently do not have any resources to properly answer or fix the issue, which is the BIGGER shame when you own cars of this caliber. The person at uConnect told me point blank "they could not tell me how to fix the issue" so where is FCA Engineering and Upper Level Tech Support for these issue?????

Recently, have come to believe the Performance Pages refuse to display because the car cannot communicate and thus send data to FCA, so the pages refuse to display. Yes, Big Brother is temporarily BROKE because of a 3G/4G Communication glitch! What's worse, there is no ReStart/Reboot Button to fix the issue.

Since April 2018 (bought the car), maybe has happened 6-7 times. How frequent is it for you @Blickie? And I always pull up performance pages each and every time I drive the car.

Twice in 14 months and yes, I always watch oil pressure, oil and water temps....

Letting the car sit overnight has always fixed it, but WHY is this necessary ????????

Rob, my '19 is running the latest Firmware, so Firmware is NOT the issue. Please read my other posts in this thread. There is another issue causing blank Performance Pages and FCA is not letting us know what it is and not telling First Level Tech Support what it is and.or how to fix. We could also use an actual ReStart/ReBoot button.

Maybe its just my pilot way's or OCD, but I cant stand to not have the gauges up if the engine is running. The other weird thing mine does when it screws up, is it changes the performance page icon on the screen to a square smiley face. Creepy little face, like if to say "I am the gremlin in your car and you never find me."

My reverse camera never came on last time I drove it. I never look at it, but still a sign of trouble. Also a few times there is zero sound from the speakers even though it shows the radios stations changing songs on AM, FM, and satellite. Same fix to get sound back. Oh and the speed adjusting sound cannot be turned off no matter how many times I hit the damn button. I heard that the 2017's were delayed in production because of a hold up on the radio screen units. I really think it was just pushed out the door to start production long before the brains fixes all the issues. Would sure be nice if Dodge would find a fix. Love my car, but will I spend $70K on a 1/2 nice car again---nope.
