Was looking on Summit's web site at Race Star front bracket rims and noticed a huge price difference in similar rims and wondered why. I know one is Drag Star and the other is Dark Star but 160 bux between the 2 is alot. I think Speedy had Dark Stars on GoManGo.

20 inch
Race Star Industries 92-060446DSD Race Star 92 Drag Star Dark Star Black Chrome Wheels | Summit Racing

18 inch
Race Star Industries 92-850445B Race Star 92 Drag Star Gloss Black Wheels | Summit Racing

I think the 20 inch limits tire choices and 18's with tires looks like 1000 bux just to drop a little weight.

Yes, I believe so.
Some people are good with them. Personally I don't like the pita lugs and the way they attach. Just my opinion.

VMS has some nice wheels that are reasonably priced.

So I've seen. I guess I'll have to call Summit and ask what's what. There is a tire available for 20x 6 rims.

I run 17s and 18s on my car unless I'm using the stock wheels.
I don't think those tires has the load rating needed for our cars. I would try to get as close as possible.

Well I ended up buying a set of used rims and tires. Got them from Rick Trunkett of B3R. Guess he had a wild ride at Sick Week! I'll use the fronts this year and decide what I might want next on the rear. I have 305 M/T Rs on 18's now. These rears are 17's. Greenie rims.jpg

What's a lighter option? My fronts are 38lbs for tire and wheel. I've not found anything dot that's better so far.

All about getting rid of that weight. Wish these cars were lighter for sure. Been looking at a ZL1

Thats pretty light no doubt. The Bogarts are the lightest ive owned but that was on my Mustang. I would assume the ones for the Hellcats are just as light.

Shank lug nuts are the worst

The Titanium lugs will drop a lb. or so from each rotating rim. Every little bit helps......
