Just added it this week to a stock Durango at Drag Week. Picked up .15 with everything the same except that it had a 20-25 mph headwind that wasn't present earlier. Guy was ecstatic.
placebo. Unless he was logging with hp tuners and can show where it made a difference

Maybe but I'll stick with more octane for better performance when racing the car. These things get hot, over fuel, the cats get super hot and it starts to eat itself when stock. Mine did it everytime at the track. I would get 1 pass, let it sit before driving home and after getting to the track. Dodge people just looked at me like I was crazy.

cant go wrong, like I said it’s safer but might not make more power. I thought your racing days were over? 😉

Most is.

Simplified my program with less equipment, maintenance and costs.

I have 1 drag and drive in November and I'm going to try and get into Sick Week next year.

Maybe Drag Week if I can get in.

Planning on Power Tour and a possible Rt 66 cruise and the Bonneville Salt Flats Speed Week to watch.

More timing normally = More Power.

My car pulled no timing with the chiller when it was pulling 6+* without and barely ran any faster. It’s definitely safer, @Speedy! will say no one should race on 91 period

But it did run faster?

I don't recommend 91 in eco mode. Mine was so far down on power.

Not really because my 60’ was better, mph was 1mph less but there was an 11-12mph headwind all day. My car doesn’t have eco mode

And in my redeye I only race in track mode with the chiller on so I'm always at an optimal oil/coolant/intercooler temp when I race regardless of the fuel in it, maybe that is why I don't notice a difference at the track with the different fuels.

Remember @Speedy's data showing a lot of knock with regular pump gas with his stock tune was on a 2016, and 2018 Demon(maybe all 2018 Hellcats not sure) and then all 2019+ models have the better/revised factory tune in them.

Eco mode? I don't think I have that. I have never not run the red key and am always on sport mode or higher.

Sounds like an improvement?

It's all the way to the right on mine. Not sure what it does?

Mine was an m6 which doesn’t have it, it changes shift points. When went to a8 and did the auto bcm config, it added eco mode - but I promptly removed it

What would answer this definitively would be to get you set up with data logging and do some science!

: )

So, as I was saying...

;)

Everyone seems to depend on data for 100% of their car setup. Seat of the pants and actual ets are a large part of the scenario. Driver feedback is a huge part of how it's tuned.

So the stoich point on these cars is 10 percent alcohol. I do not believe the book. Also 93 with 10 percent alcohol is a higher octane than 91. I would run the 93 no question.

Jon and Dave,
In my case the car runs just fine on Amoco 93 at $4.19 a gullup. Da 104 and upurds duz nuthin butt cause problemz. Cum 2 find out. Dis GD patrolum station down da street frum da track. Waz sellan 104 leaded free BUT da gas waz leaded. I am lucky I didn't throw a piss tun or a knock and a lifturd go thru da hood. Needless 2 say, it did alot of damage.

So, your saying highest octane (enough that prevents detonation in your application) irrespective of ethanol %.
