Ok probably a stupid question but I can’t seem to view the tpms screen in vehicle info . On my scat pack it was the first screen that popped up in that menu . 2016 Hellcat .. I know there are added screens for boost , inter cooler etc .. but thought it would still have this screen

Yes so I’m in the 2. Vehicle info menu , if I scroll using right or left arrow keys I get the different screens coolant temp, torque , hp, oil temp , trans temp etc , boost gauge etc ( I forget the order ) but no display of the tpms screen. Maybe I’m looking in wrong place ?

TPMS is the first screen in that particular menu. (Info)

If it's not there, that's strange

Yeap that’s what I thought now I’m concerned the system has been deactivated. I looked for a Tazer maybe previous owner had one but haven’t seen anything. On my scat it was the first screen under info . I thought about disconnecting the battery or not sure if there is a fuse I can pull

Very bizarre it is NOT there... not sure what is going on. I have the following (and not in this particular order persay after coolant temp) when I scroll down from 1, to 2. Vehicle info the first screen I see under 2. is Coolant Temp, Trans Temp, Oil Temp, Battery Volt, I/C Temp, Boost, IAT, Oil Life, engine Hp, torque. I seem to be missing the TPMS screen and Top Speed (assuming top speed is under Vehicle info as well) I am going to try calling Dodge today.. I was going to disconnect the battery maybe something just needs to reset not sure. I have no TPMS warning light and car has stock tires and wheels. Very puzzled o_O:unsure:

I think I finally figured this out prior owner must have disabled the system. I also noticed today when not wearing my seatbelt just as I started to drive the chime has been shut off . The seatbelt red light still appears on the gauge and the display pops up once with the picture of driver seatbelt not buckled but no constant chime. Back to tires tpms we can see all 4 tires have sensors .. rear tires are almost new. I’m gonna go by a buddy shop that’s a mechanic and has owned and worked on these cars quite a bit . He’s going to plug in and scan everything to see if system is disabled which I’m almost sure it has. I disconnected the battery but that didn’t do anything but tried it just in case .

Dang.
What a pain.
Why would anyone want to disable that?
Does not hurt anything, only helps.

Yeap that’s what I think too . We all buy these cars to run them I knew this going in so I’m sure this car was put through it’s paces but it’s in very good shape otherwise so it is what It is . I’ll update tomorrow night once I have my buddy plug into the car and see what we can see.

With AlfaOBD, you can check the status of your TPMS programming, in the BCM, and turn them back on, if they are disabled.

You'll need to download AlfaOBD on an Android device, and an OBDLink MX, or MX+ OBD client.

You'll be looking for TPMS status under Base and Premium TPMS settings. If they have been turned off, current status will read "not set".

Thanks Bob for the information I appreciate it. I don't have an Android device and part of this sounds a bit above my technical level, so hoping when my friend plugs in at his shop he should be able to access this as well.

If you have access to a Tazer, it will also allow changes to the TPMS settings.

I don't right now but may pick one up at some point. Actually when I could not find the TPMS screen initially I started looking to see if the prior owner left a Tazer or something , which I doubt since it can be resold but just to double check.
